The awarded fabric is made from post-consumer polyester textile waste using our BioCulus® enzymatic recycling technology. The process breaks polyester down to its core building blocks, which are purified and rebuilt into regenerated polyester with performance equivalent to virgin material.

This enables true textile-to-textile recycling and shows how waste can become the starting point for new materials.
